We think it's a cool project,
but don't take our word for it...

From our Facebook reviews:

"Thank you so much Richard and your project and all those we met and the experience that we had yesterday (June 3rd) with you. Something very different and awesome. there are so many bars and restaurants new things are great. I hope you can meet your goal of integrating the pilgrims more with the locals and their culture in each passing pueblo. I think this is very important especially as the Camino continues to grow in popularity. Thank you so much. Oh yeah and we love the postcards! Thanks a ton! Saludos y que tengas suerte con el proyecto. Can't wait to see where it goes." -Charlie and Sam from New Jersey, USA
"I'm really impressed by the generosity and hospitality with which I was treated. The workshop was very entertaining and engaging. The project is at it's beginning and requires a lot of effort, the beginning is always the hardest but has great potential and with dedication and love put into it I feel that will be wonderful. Sending lots of encouragement for this project." Estela Morales Sales -
"I feel so lucky to have gotten a chance to stay at Project Brigid during my Camino. The place is clean, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming—I felt right at home. My friend and I got the chance to participate in a cultural workshop with locals and even went to a concert with them. It was the best night of our Camino and I feel so fortunate to have made such great friends through Project Brigid. Richard is doing such great work and I can’t wait to see how far this wonderful project goes." -Hannah Truempi
I was lucky enough to learn about Project Brigid on the Camino de Santiago and its mission is inspiring. The cultural exchange approach is the best way to get locals, tourists and Peregrinos to learn from one another while creating a unique friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks Richard for making my visit so amazing. All the best! -Miguel de Hoyos
Very neat and original Idea! It's very different from anything else I saw in the Camino! It was great to have met Richard, but also to have been able to meet other locals! The cultural exchange was a great learning experience, laid back, yet productive. The memories from the short time spent there will last a long time. Hopefully i'll find myself in the area in the future, can't wait to see what this will look like in the future! Great energy all around! -Joao Lopes
The generosity and warmth is unbelievable. Richard, your empathy and hospitality (and the food you cooked with so much love) still keeps me at it, and probably will for a long time. Thank you so much, and I would advise anyone passing by during their Camino to spend some time with Richard and Aloe Bar (spelled right?). Evigt tacksam! -Jessika Rosén
"During my camino I was lucky and met Richard and his cultural Project. I really enjoyed the workshop, which revolutionized how I cook my couscous now :) If you are open-minded you shouldnt miss to get to know Richard and his dog Alobar. I had a comfy night in a warm, clean room! One of my best decicions on the camino was to stop by. Thank you!" Alena Esstee
I had a super great time at Project Brigid ! Not only is Richard a really great host but his project and the way he brings the local community as well as the Piligrimos together is truly original and inspiring. I got to help out with the English classes and then was invited by the students for a drink at the local bar. Great experience ! I look forward to coming back again very soon! -Yves Elmir
